Aug. 27, 2026 Greetings once again from Charlotte, North Carolina. I first want to thank Moses Julius, Light TV in Pakistan, for publishing my book BACK TO JERUSALEM in the Muslim country. He sent me three copies. (Photo above.) On September 15, David Lauka and I begin our return trip to Jerusalem, Israel. We will have six weeks with Christian Friends of Israel, bringing comfort to the nation as the Lord gives us the ongoing opportunity.  If you would also like to bless the people there in this time of their need, all contributions are appreciated. As time quickly speeds on, in the years ahead, I want to focus more on and in Israel, especially as the nations continue to turn away, including the USA. We must stand strong alongside our Jewish friends. REUNION

 

Reunions among families, sports teams, high school and college graduates, band of brothers…these are special times for those involved. The great memories shared, times “relived” of days gone by, even if a bit embellished from the last time you heard that same story retold, all are times we look forward to.

My Martin family reunion set for Labor Day weekend 2026 will be special. Why? Because I am in charge. I have been planning for months to make it so.

I designed a logo for the event, and had it placed on coffee mugs, light blue polo and t-shirts, and have wonderful prizes for games in mind.

Reunions can really be awesome.

The one I am particularly looking forward to though is when the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, returns for those who call upon His Name, and have received His salvation, redemption, which has been offered to all.

This reunion will be the greatest of all. His return, the Lion of Judah, will cause the peoples of the nations to proclaim His Lordship and bow down in worship.

 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True…” — Revelation 19:11 (KJV)

And it continues in Revelation 19:16-16, “And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (NASB)

As we grow weary of the wrongs being committed before our eyes; the evil put on people, especially the Jews; the injustice proclaimed as “peace and love” by the louder voices…we who know the Lord and Savior are “keeping our eyes on Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith.” Hebrews 12:2

This reunion will be historic, beyond comprehensive.

The Bible is true. Reunion time cometh!

My “new” 1989 Chevy Silverado Sidestep 4x4 truck, which I bought for $1,200 on Sunday, August 9, 2026, has this license plate (tag) that I was given by the NCDMV (North Carolina Div. of Motor Vehicles on Aug. 10.

So I applied this for the alpha letters:

W = WITH

C = CHRIST

A = ALWAYS

When I asked ChatGPT on the biblical significance of the numbers “3886” it gave me this:

Here’s a careful biblical look at 3–8–8–6. I would treat this as a theme study, not as proof that 3886 is a coded prophecy.

3 often points to completeness or divine confirmation in Scripture. Jesus rose on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4), and important events are sometimes established with repeated or threefold witness.

8 is commonly associated by Bible teachers with new beginnings or a new order. Circumcision was on the eighth day (Leviticus 12:3), and eight people were preserved through the Flood in Noah’s family (1 Peter 3:20). Since your number has 8 twice, someone could see an emphasis on renewal or a fresh start—but Scripture never states that “88” itself has a prophetic meaning.

6 is often connected with humanity and human limitation. Humanity was created on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26–31). Revelation 13:18 also associates 666 with the number of the beast, but that does notmean every appearance of the number 6 is negative.

So, as a devotional theme, 3–8–8–6 could suggest something like:

God’s confirmation → new beginning → renewed beginning → human dependence on God.

And there is an interesting connection with Strong’s G3886, which relates to being weakened or paralyzed. Hebrews 12:12 says:

“Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble.”

Taken together—not as a prediction, but as a biblical meditation—the theme could be: God strengthening what has become weak and bringing you into a renewed season, while reminding you to depend on Him rather than human strength.

The safest biblical test is always: Does the impression agree with Scripture, exalt the Lord, produce good fruit, and lead toward obedience rather than fear or superstition? See 1 Thessalonians 5:20–21 and 1 John 4:1.
